If you ask any college student about their biggest problem, many will complain about their money problems. For regular college student, money making has to be done between a loaded class schedule, assignments, research papers and studies.

Here are some ways through which a college student may make money during free time.

    * Offer Tutoring Services – If you are particularly skilled in any one subject, you should find work tutoring your peers. You can either do this on your own or through a private tutoring company. If you are majoring in education or in child development, you should look into tutoring students in high school or elementary school.
    * Find an On-Campus Part-Time Job – Look around the on-campus stores and ask if they are hiring any part time employees. Some people adjust their schedules to make time for a good part time job.
    * Typist – If you have a typing speed over 50 wpm (words per minute), you can consider work as a typist. You can charge student customers by word count or per page. Students will deliver the hand written document to you. Make it clear that you will only type the document out – you will not offer proof reading, correct grammatical and/or spelling mistakes, document printing etc. Those services will cost more.
    * Note Taker – As far as student money making ideas go, this is the easiest way available to you. If you are able to take comprehensive notes in neat handwriting, you can sell lecture notes for certain classes. Be sure not to use abbreviations or any other codes which will make it difficult for other readers to understand your notes. Also be sure to record the lecture so that you can go over the audio recording to make sure you haven't missed any point.
    * Freelance work – If you are able to use programs like Photo shop or Coral Draw and have experience in arts, try to find freelance work to make logos for small businesses etc.

As a student, money making endeavors can help you pay off student loans, pay for living expenses, books and leisure activities like concert tickets or club hopping.
